Weight loss journey week 7

It’s been that long and it seems like I’m not making progress at all. Does anyone else feel the same?

Let’s take a look at what happened and the numbers last week.

Weight loss journey week 6 recap

So, last Monday, my weight was 66 kilograms. Which was 500 grams lower than week 5’s weight. I talked about how counting calories can be hard, boring, and how you can survive a nuclear holocaust.

Then, I also tried singing a Whitney song but my daughter had the right idea to stuff her lego in my mouth to shut me up. And, it seems like my weight stayed pretty much the same at 66 kilograms.

Today is the day that we went to the Hunter Valley Gardens. And, guess what we saw!? Huge, massive, dinosaurs! Well, not that massive. Their tyrannosaurus was not much taller than me. 

Anyways, my weight for today is 67 kilograms which is a gain of 1 kilogram from last Monday.

I’m not that disappointed because I am losing body fat. I should really buy the caliper to measure body fat. 

We had a great time at the gardens though, especially the kids. I didn’t by wine or any alcohol because it’s not my passion. 

I came here for my baby to have fun and see those huge dinosaurs. 

I started to count my calories in the morning, but by lunch, I didn’t even bother. Perhaps, I can eyeball my food now and how much calories I am able to eat. And, I know that I have or will go over the deficit calorie target for today. So, there is no calorie counting for today.

Took us 2.5 hours to get there and 4 hours to come home. The traffic was horrendous coming home from Hunter Valley.

I was buggered and had a quick nap.

Today is annoying my daughter’s day. And, my weight is still 67 kilograms.

My diet was pretty good today. I mainly had vegetables for my meals. However, there is a question that this house is a bit crazy. 

It is damn too noisy for my liking. But, hey, home is where the heart is. And my heart is with my daughter and her mother.

My weight dropped from 67 to 66 kilograms overnight! But, as we all know, there are many factors that may have caused that change or any change to happen at all.

What I mean is that, what if I was wearing clothes that were heavier yesterday resulting in a lower reading today. 

There could also an error in the scale itself. These are the reasons why I don’t dwell too much daily weight checks. I still do them for content purposes. However, if the majority of the viewers hate it, then I simply take it off.

I went back into doing the UFC Fit training. I used to do them but I get bored when I do it. I’d rather go out and play basketball or shadowbox. 

However, I never sweated so much! If you want a great cardio workout, combining cardio and strength training is a great way to sweat like a pig.

Needless to say, I was drenched in sweat after the program. My floor was so wet, I needed to put a wet floor sign. 

Also, it’s a great idea to tell your daughter to go downstairs when you’re doing this type of training because she will just annoy the heck out of you. 

And, I was a carnivore today. I had to eat the chicken my partner bought yesterday because no one else will eat it. It’s almost finished though so, hooray!

After dropping my daughter off at the child care center, I checked my weight. And it’s great to see that I’m back in the 66 kilograms mark.

I also cleaned the house to lose more calories. I didn’t clean the house because my missus told me to, na ah. I absolutely love cleaning. And, I absolutely forced myself to say that.

I made a lentil sandwich that contains half a cup of lentils. You know the usual.

Today is the third day of the jump rope challenge. But, before that, we caught up with friends and went walking in the bush.

And, I saw a bonsai plant. I always wanted one, something about the Japanese culture that I love. Maybe because my last name sounds Japanese.

Needless to say, I bought the Bonsai tree and now at my backyard growing. 

Ok, let’s get into fitness. Today is back day and let’s get on with the challenge.

I only found out about the rules yesterday so I’m making up for it today. Instead of only doing 1200 jumps, I will be adding another 100 to make up for yesterday.

To make it harder, I drastically decreased the rest time to almost none. I only stop when I need to, like if my feet are in pain. 

I completed the 1300 jump ropes in just under 12 minutes.
