I used to go into Macdonalds and order a Big Mac without the bun. As you can imagine, it’s not ideal. And this is where Paleovalley Beef Sticks come in. It has low carbs, the right amount of protein, and nothing artificial.
To understand more about the brand Paleovalley, I dug deeper.

Paleovalley Beef Sticks Review
This Paleovalley Beef Sticks review will go over its founders. Who are they and what do they stand for?
Why was Paleovalley Beef Sticks created? What’s inside the Paleovalley Beef Sticks. Pros and Cons. Why is Paleovalley better than the rest?
And lastly, my taste test.
Paleovalley Beef Sticks Founders
I saw a Youtube interview, which I will link below. Inside the video is the co-founder of Paleovalley, Autumn Smith.
Autumn Smith talks about how she suffered from digestive issues since young. Her parents took her to every Doctor that they could think of but never solved her problems.
Autumn was depressed; her mind started to deteriorate. She had anxiety, depression, and started forming bad habits such as smoking and drinking.
Autumn found the solution, or rather, Chas Smith found it after they got married. Chas is a co-founder of Paleovalley Beef Sticks.
Chas wanted the best for his new wife, so he did some research and suggested to Autumn to try the Paleo diet, and she did.
After 30 days on the Paleo diet, she had no more bloating, and her digestive issues got better. A year later, she described that it felt like a light has turned on and had more zest for life that she never had since she was a little girl.
Autumn wanted to share her experience with others and to learn more about the healing power of natural food. So, she got her masters in holistic nutrition.
Why Paleovalley Beef Sticks?
Autumn and Chas would go to stores and look for Paleo friendly snacks but can’t find any. Even with beef sticks that they have tried was not healthy.
The beef sticks had artificial flavors and other substances that you shouldn’t be putting into your body. And the manufacturers don’t have to declare that it’s in there. Or, it’s stated, but the general public has no idea that the substance is doing more harm than good.
There are also products in the market that contain buzzwords: gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and natural. But, they were also free from minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins. Minerals and nutrients you need for thriving health.
The founders thought that there should be a product that is better for the public; a transparent and excellent product.
What’s Paleovalley Beef Sticks?
So, the founders decided to create a good product for the people and not for a quick profit.
Paleovalley Beef Sticks are a snack for people who are doing Paleo diets, low carbs, ketogenic or any diet which doesn’t involve high amounts of carbs.
Each diet has its intricacies, but the low carb is prevalent in these types of diet.
The way I look at it, these beef sticks are suitable for anyone who wants a quick healthy, dense in nutrients snack.
Paleovalley Beef Sticks are made in the U.S.A. It’s important to note that they are the only grass-fed beef sticks that are manufactured in the U.S.A. And the organic spices are naturally fermented.
Paleovalley Beef Sticks also contain naturally occurring probiotics due to their use of ancient fermenting methods.
They are emphasizing how their grass-fed beef sticks are grass-fed.
“Our 100% Grass Fed Beef Sticks are made beef from happy, healthy cows. They are NEVER fed grains. Unlike most companies using the term “grass fed” even though their products are NOT grass finished – we actually care about the quality of life the animals enjoy. Truly pasture-raised cows are, not surprisingly, much healthier than grain fed cows and contain higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They also have a much more favorable omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acid ratio which is important because when omega-6 levels are too high inflammation is often the result.[source: paleovalley.com]
What is it about “grass-fed” beef?
Regular grain-fed beef has nutrients, but grass-fed beef contains more—nutrients such as the carotenoids, vitamin E, and other antioxidants.
Paleovalley also mentions about grass-finished. Grass-finished means that the beef has been fed grass its entire life to the end of its life.
Some beef companies label their products as grass fed, but at the end stage of the cow’s life, it is fed grain.

The co-founder, Autumn, seems to be genuinely passionate about bringing nutritious snacks into the market for the low carb dieters.
She has done so with the help of Chas Smith, her husband, and a co-founder of Paleovalley.
The founders are confident that you will love their beef sticks or give you your money after 60 days of purchase.
My taste test
I tried the Jalapeno flavor expecting it to be spicy, but it wasn’t. However, after a few bites, it does catch up.
The cranberry flavor tastes sweet with a hint of sourness. You can even see some dried cranberry embedded in the meat.
The original tastes the best because it feels as it should, like beef.

“I have purchased this regularly for the past 2 years and have been very happy with every package. The flavor is fantastic, just enough spice and the texture is as expected for a beef stick. Really like having a clean meat ready to eat and individually packaged.“Jayj

“I really REALLY like these. Flavor is kinda weird at first. The stick is kinda wet and has a slight tangy taste. I know that sounds terrible for a beef stick. Just trust me and try these. They are delicious. I have never had a beef stick that tasted this good AND was good for me.“BuyALLtheTHINGS

“These are very tasty! Even better when eaten together with a mozzarella cheese stick! I’d definitely order more if they go on sale or the price goes down, they are just too pricy to be buying all the time – at least for my budget.“Weltonlj

“Pricey but apparently delicious. I purchased these for my son who has just been diagnosed with M.S. (sigh) and has started a Paleo diet. He has been a beef jerky fan since he was a boy and reported to me “that these are even better.” I do wish they could get the price down; diseases like M.S. are expensive enough without having to shell out a small fortune on alternative foods.“J.A.N.

The 5-star reviews account for 71% of the total Amazon reviews. The 1-star reviews take 10%.
I did see a pattern of people being shipped expired batches.
It’s better if you buy from the Paleovalley store and not from Amazon. You see Amazon stores the goods in their warehouses. I don’t think they do any stock rotations in each of their locations.
Amazon doesn’t care if they send out bad batches because it’s not their reputation on the line.
Autumn Smith had experience with digestive issues almost all of her entire life. Numerous doctors could not solve her problem until she found the Paleo diet.
A month on the Paleo diet, her bloating vanished. A year later, she found more zest for life like she never had before.
She’s a major advocate of the Paleo diet, but she saw a lack in the “on the go” snack department.
With all the unnatural ingredients in current beef sticks; the misleading marketing of companies to make a profit, she felt the people needed better alternatives.
So, she and her husband, Chas Smith, founded the Paleovalley 100% Grass-Fed Beef Sticks.
Their product contains naturally occurring probiotics that no beef sticks on the market possess.
When it comes to taste, I only liked one flavor, that is the original. The original tastes like beef as it should.
Overall, would I recommend this product to my friends? Absolutely. Especially if you are doing a low-carb diet.
Even if you are not on any diet, Paleovalley 100% Grass-Fed Beef Sticks is for everyone that wants a nutrient-dense snack.
